Handmade Bass Fuzz Pedal

Handmade Bass Fuzz Pedal

GERMANIUM BASS FUZZ pedal:

We planned this pedal, with a vintage fuzz circuit, specifically for the bass guitar. However, guitar players have also achieved exceptional tones with the pedal.

At its heart are 2 very rare NOS (New Old Stock) Russian germanium transistor. These give the special, organic, vintage sound. We paid special attention to ensure that all components of the fuzz circuit are original and authentic from the 1960’s.

During development we listened to vintage recordings and current bass lines so as to produce a pedal that is equally good for players of all genres. The pedal compliments a Höfner bass giving sounds like the fuzzy bass of “Think for Yourself”, while with a modern bass guitar it sounds like a stoner bass of the 1990’s.

A creamy low level of fuzz can be increased to a cutting full on roar from your bass allowing you to punch through the rest of the band if necessary.

The Volume pot change the output signal. With the Bass pot you can filter the low frequencies. The Fuzz pot affects the amount of distortion.

We recommend this pedal for all bass players who want to experiment with fuzz bass sound whether that be low level distortion or aggressive cutting total fuzz.

Handmade "Hold on Tight" Pedal

Handmade "Hold on Tight" Pedal

HOLD ON TIGHT – Bass Overdrive pedal:

This is a classic, tube like sounding bass overdrive pedal.

There are 2 circuits inside, one of which holds the original sound of your bass guitar. With the Drive pot you can add the distorted sound to the clean signal with the help of the parallel electronic circuit.  This means, by adjusting the Drive pot you can use the "Hold On Tight" pedal like a bass overdrive or a clean booster or a simple bass preamp with 2 channel equalisation.

With this pedal you can really begin to explore and engage a greater variety of sounds. It gives you the opportunity to change your Höfner 500/1 bass sound to reflect other styles, letting you push your bass even further. With the 2 special diodes that this pedal uses, you can mix the bass sound, for example, to emulate what McCartney used on the Sgt. Peppers and Magical Mystery Tour Beatles albums.

With any bass you can mix a modern, dirty, crunchy, punchy bass sound with great headroom.

The Volume pot changes the output signal, the 2 channel equalisation (Bass & Treble) change the mixed signal low and high frequencies. The Drive pot allows you to blend the original and the overdriven circuits.

Handmade "Press to Compress" Pedal

Handmade "Press to Compress" Pedal

"Press to Compress"

Individually handmade this is the legendary LA-2A style studio quality opto compressor pedal.

At its heart the "Press To Compress" is a low-noise optical compressor that smooths out your signal while preserving signal integrity thanks to premium audio grade components. It uses custom optocoupler to achieve up to 30dB of musical-sounding compression. You can use it like a Leveller, like a Compressor or like a simple Clean Boost. When this pedal is switched on it brings you easier playing, when you switched off, this will be missing from the sound! Great help to the finger picking style guitarists.

This is THE compressor pedal not to suck the life out of your tone. With the Level pot you can change the output signal. The Compress pot affects the amount of gain reduction of the input signal. With Attack pot you can change the transparency of the compression.

Although designed primarily for bass it works equally well with guitar and other instruments.

Handmade "Sound of the 60s" Pedal

Handmade "Sound of the 60s" Pedal

SOUND OF THE 60s TYPE A – Reverb pedal:

A taste of the 60’s.

Individually handmade the "Sound of the 60s" FX pedal is tuned to let you get that authentic 1960s sound from your guitar.

Those bright shimmering tones with subtle reverb, so popular in the 60s, are easily achieved whatever model guitar you use and play. This true bypass pedal lets you instantly deliver brilliant shining highs while you can dial in more or less dwell (reverb) as you want. We listened to dozens of recordings of the famous groups from the 1960s when we designed this pedal to ensure we captured that special vintage sound. This pedal is the essential accessory of the surf and the 60's type sounding bands.

What you get is the vintage Fender Spring Reverb style sound in a small box! The Sound Of The 60s Type A is a digital reverb pedal with an analog clean signal path, but the best digital reverb sound that easily replaces a spring reverberation unit. At the heart is a great reverb brick, made by the legendary Accutronics & Belton company; it sounds like their analog reverb tank, great!

The Volume pot changes the output signal. With the Dwell pot you can change the amount of the effect feedback. With the Mix pot you can add the effect signal to the clean signal path and the Tone pot is a high pass filter of the effect signal.

Handmade "Time and Again" Analog Delay Pedal

Handmade "Time and Again" Analog Delay Pedal

TIME AND AGAIN – Analog delay/Echo pedal:

Each pedal is individually handmade to bring you a truly authentic sound. The “Time and Again” pedal was designed to deliver genuine analogue delay, giving superior sound to your performance. The three controls  let you easily create the perfect delay without compromise to your overall tone. This is genuine controllable delay, not a series of wobbly echoes, with a totally smooth tone.

The Time And Again is a classic, vintage, warm sounding analog delay pedal. This pedal is able to produce delay times ranging from 30 to 300 Milliseconds. It’s got three dials with adjustments for Echo, Feedback and Blend. The Time And Again has a very rich, full sound, thanks to its all-analog circuit that uses a “bucket-brigade device” (BBD) to create the delay effect. Capable of a wide range of tones from doubling to quick slapback to long repeating echoes, the character of the BBD effect is distinctly different from digital delay, which tends to be very crisp and defined. The heart of this circuit is the famous and very rare MN3005 BBD chip. So this circuit is 100% analog.

The Echo pot changes the time of the delay. With the Feedback pot you can change the repeats from one to endless, oscillating delay and with the Blend knob you can add the delay effect to the clean signal path.

Handmade "Tremaluxe" Pedal

Handmade "Tremaluxe" Pedal

TREMALUXE TYPE 4 – Tremolo pedal:

Individually handmade the Tremaluxe FX pedal has been carefully designed to deliver that uniquely 60s tremolo sound used on so many recording from that era. The four controls – Wave, Shape, Speed, Depth – allow ultimate control so that you can achieve the exact sound required for your performance. It is easily possible to create the tremolo used by those instrumental groups from the early 60s on so many famous recordings or it can be pushed to deliver brilliant wave forms for contemporary rock.

The Tremaluxe Type 4 pedal is a unique, vintage sounding tremolo, with many opportunities for you to experiment with your sound. Designed to bring you the classic textures you love and know through to some extreme and amazing effects.

With the Wave pot you can change between 6 modulation wave form (sine, triangle, square, saw, reverse saw and half sine). The Shape pot is a magic pot, with this you can distort the modulation wave forms - this knob lets you control how evenly the signal rises and falls. Set it in the middle for a traditional, even rise-and-fall effect, or turn it left or right for wild effects. The Speed pot change the speed of the modulation and the Depth pot change the amount of the effect. Finally the Gain trim pot lets you change the output volume.

Handmade Twin Overdrive Pedal

Handmade Twin Overdrive Pedal

TWIN OVERDRIVE pedal:

Individually handmade this twin channel Overdrive FX pedal has been carefully designed to deliver a brilliant tone. The four controls – Volume, Tone, Drive A and Drive B – allow ultimate control so that you can achieve the exact sound required for your performance. With twin channels and twin stomp pedals you can control the level of distortion and easily boost this by engaging the second channel (B). This is particularly effective when you are playing rhythm guitar and then need a boost for a lead break or ideed want to emphasize part of a lead break.

Overall the distortion on this pedal can be turned from a mild grumble through to a full bloodied howl, but all delivered without break-up or unwanted whistling undertones.

This is a 2 channel vintage sounding overdrive pedal. The sound is based on the distorted sound of the Vox Conqueror/Supreme/Defiant amps with really 60’s type fuzzy feel. This fuzzy distorted guitar sound is audible on very many LP's of the late 60's.

The two channels have different characteristics. The “A” channel has a little bit less gain but more vintage feel, the “B” channel has more gain and a bit more sustain. Responsible for the authentic, vintage sound are 2 rare NOS (New Old Stock) AC128 germanium transistor.

The Volume pot changes the output signal. The Drive A/Drive B pots affect the amount of distortion on their respective channels. The Tone pot is a high pass filter. You can change with a footswitch between the 2 channels.

Handmade Treble Boost Pedal

Handmade Treble Boost Pedal

BOOST – Treble Booster pedal:

Individually handmade in Europe this Treble Boost pedal has been carefully tested and built to bring you that authentic sound from the 60s and 70s. The three controls – Range, Shine, Body – give you a great range of sound and excellent control over your sound. Treble Boost pedals feature on many of the classic recordings from the 60s and 70s, heard on numerous lead guitar and even rhythm guitar. This pedal accurately captures that great vintage sound, letting your guitar cut to the front of the band when needed.

The circuitry on this pedal has been painstakingly tested again and again to achive the perfect treble boost sound, strong, bright and cutting without sounding rough or torn.

This pedal is a replica of the legendary Dallas Rangemaster treble booster unit. A type of BOOSTER, not really a distortion pedal nor a clean boost - it does modify your sound quite a bit. It excites certain frequencies and pushes your amp to allow it to create rich tube distortion. The pedal colours your tone, with a crunchy overdrive, boosting certain frequencies and warming the tone with the ultra rare NOS (New Old Stock) Mullard OC42 germanium transistor, like in the original pedal. It has a raw, open sound.

We complemented the original circuit with some useful functions. The Range pot functions like a gain pot. The Shine pot is a high frequency cut filter and with the Body pot you can change the type of the frequency boost (it is a simple a low frequency cut pot). Into the pedal we have built a special polarity change electronic circuit, so that you can set it in daisy chain with your another pedals.
