Other Talents

We are a multi talented bunch here at Hofner. Not only do we make violins, cellos, bows, guitars and much more but we also have writers and musicians and more.

Regina Holm, export manager, is something of a budding writer, have a look at a sample of her latest work here. A short seasonal story entitled "Snowflake" it is, well, all about a snowflake!

Thomas Stühlein, one of our luthiers, is an accomplished rock guitarist playing in a very successful local band - Tax Dodgers.

You can view Thomas in action on YouTube here. He seems to be playing an inferior brand of guitar so he will probably have to be sacked tomorrow.

Laura Libricz, who manages our warranty repair department, has just completed the first draft of a book. Here is Laura's own description of her novel:

"The novel is called ‘Heaven’s Ponds’ and it is the story of Katarina, a young maid forced to work for a wealthy patrician, who becomes entangled in a vicious religious battle between two prominent families in 17^th century Germany on the brink of the Thirty Years War".
