This Green Line Bass delivers all of the tone that you expect from a Hofner Violin Bass but manages to be eco friendly at the same time. Only non exotic wood is used on this model. It features a spruce top and flame maple back and sides, the fingerboard is made from walnut which has proved to be highly durable and excellent for playing. The bindings, headstock plate, scratchplate, pickup mountings and even the control knobs are made of wood. As far as possible the use of plastics has been eliminated.It is finished with ecological hard oil, not harmful to the environment, which produces a strong resistant natural finish and a superb glowing colour. It is fitted with original Hofner pickups, two volume and one tone controls and the famous Hofner trapeze tailpiece.
